Minutes Approved

3-D Month Activities
Holiday overtime patrols-
MHP has not used the ones previously approved.  It would be great for someone to work one for the Cat/Griz game, but no on has signed up for it. -
Task Force voted to authorize 2 more- MHP can share those with other agencies
Payroll insert flyer on safe parties
All said yes-city, county, Bozeman schools, Big Sky
Would like to also see it at health clubs
Proclamation with County Commissioners
        Needs to be done 12/2
Donuts project to law enforcement as thank you for working on the holidays
Guest letters to the editor
Good for DUI Task Force for community members to respond to Chronicle articles

Task Force Membership:
Two deputies brought in 90% of DUI's in April/May
Jenna wrote a letter for Sheriff Cashell asking if one of those would represent the Sheriff’s Department on the Task Force.  Might see it as less of a chore, and more something that they want to do.  asked if one would want to be on Task Force

Projects in Process
Web page- Jenna has permission to copy some material from a Menlo Park, California site on the consequences of receiving a DUI.  Will need help rewriting that to be appropriate for Montana.  She did a web search and did not find a Montana-based site that supplies that information.

SKSC
Grant came through- doesn't mean a lot for DUI Task Force.  Does mean some funding for Cat Cab.
DUI Stats project- some research will be presented 11/20 at The Law and Justice Symposium

Side note-   Sherrie Murphy didn’t know about the Sheriff’s planned new DUI booking system-- has concerns about it.  Jenna referred her to the October minutes for more information on that system.

Finances
No budget update this month

3-Year Plan:
Letter received from the state that re-authorized funding.  Still no estimate for what our first check might be.
Got a copy of 3-year plan from Great Falls – helped in writing ours.  Forwarded ours to Billings.  Ours is waiting for Commissioners approval.

ADSGC: New member, Annie Riemer who teaches ACT classes introduced herself
Sees more underage DUIs than predecessor saw
Looking for speakers to make presentations at her classes

Adjourn- 6:30 PM
Next meeting December 17th
